James Basler - President:
Mr. Basler was employed by the Pasadena Police Department prior to leaving the department to work for several seasons as a writer on the television series The Rookies and Chase. Since 1978, he has been an owner of three firms. His investigative specialties are in depth AOE/COE investigations, such as stress claims and subrogations, and public records research.
Hector Garcia - Vice President:
In 1990, after service in the military, Mr. Garcia began his investigative career as an in-house fraud investigator with the SIU department at Fremont Indemnity Company's Los Angeles office. After working for several years in the Los Angeles and San Diego areas as an independent insurance investigator, he teamed up with James Basler in 1988 to form Basler & Garcia Investigations. His areas of expertise are surveillance, activity checks and undercover investigations.
After a career in journalism, Mr. Gifford entered the private investigation field in 1985. After becoming licensed in 1988, he established his own firm, S.C. Metro Investigations, specializing in both workers compensation and civil investigations. He became a principal in our firm at the time of our incorporation in 1994. He is a versatile investigator known for his resourceful sub rosa and field investigations.
